Country music.?
It’s amazing the ignorance that some people have towards country music. I actually used to be one of them. I used to think country music was for dumb rednecks and hicks. But one day, I pondered about it. I was tired of listening to the liberal punk trash on the radio, and I knew country music is mostly conservative. I started listening to Toby Keith, and I loved it. Moved on to Montgomery Gentry, then Big n Rich, then Tim McGraw, then Van Zant, and pretty soon, I was loving country music. My eyes were opened big time, it was a huge shock. Has anyone else noticed this sort of attitude toward country music? A lot of people that say they don’t like it have never really heard it or know what it’s really about.

I LOVE Country music! I think the reason why people hate it so much is their twang or accent, the fact that most of their songs are sad, that the songs are all about rednecks or so-called hicks.
But country music is so much MORE than that! It is about life, the songs reflect the ups and downs of life that we all go through. It’s like a soundtrack to your life.
To quote Trace Adkins, "These songs are about me."
They really are.
